Card Making Project - Christmas Tree Card 1

This is the first of 2 cards made by Mary using the Christmas tree clear stamp. The use of the striped red and green backing paper gives this card a modern twist.

To make this card you will need:
 A4 Quality White CardPack of 6 A4 Sheets of Christmas Printed PaperGold Foil Mirror CardA4 Smooth Light Bright White CardClear Stamp Christmas TreeEncore Metallic Ink Cube - GreenEncore Metallic Ink Cube - GoldGlitter powder in Emerald Green and Intense LimeSakura Quickie Glue Pen3D Double Sided Foam Pads 10mm Square 5mm Double Sided Fingerlift Tape Corner Rounder PunchScoring Board such as the EaziScore or Hougie Board |

Using a scoring board score the A4 white card down the middle to create an A5 creased card.
Cut a piece of the light bright white card to measure 78mm x 118mm and round each corner using the corner rounder punch. Stamp the Xmas tree image on to white card using the Green metallic ink cube.
Cut a piece of the gold mirror card to measure 182mm x 134mm. Take the striped Xmas backing paper from the Christmas Printed Paper Pack and trimmed to 176mm x 128mm. Glue to the backing paper to the gold mirror card using double sided tape leaving an even white edging to the top and sides of the card.
Using the Joy stamp from the Christmas Tree stamp set and the gold metallic ink cube stamp the word in each of the 4 corners on the striped backing paper. Using the Peace stamp and the gold metallic ink cube stamp the word at the bottom and at both sides of the striped backing paper.
Using the Quickie glue pen dot streamers around the tree and glitter using the emerald and intense lime glitter.
Cut a piece of gold mirror card to measure 84mm x 124mm. Attach the white stamped card centrally to the piece of gold mirror card using double sided tape. Mount onto the card using 3D foam pads.
