Card Making Project - Holly and Poinsettias Card

Please note that the Holly self adhesive gems are no longer available. However, as this is one of our most popular projects we have left it on the Gallery and suggest you use a Holly Sprig brad in it's place.
Of all the Christmas cards in the gallery this is probably our most copied card

To make this card you will need:

Stardream Opal card cut and creased to 144mm x 144mm
Foiled Green Holly on Stardream Opal Backing Paper
Green Holly Self Adhesive Gems
4mm Round Red Gem
Large Poinsettias
Gold Foil on Red Christmas Greetings Sheet
Photo Glue
Silicon Glue
Didi Glue Dot
Deckle Edge Scissors or Craft Cutter or A4 Rotary Trimmer with Deckle Blade

Cut a triangle from the foiled holly paper measuring 144mm along the bottom and right hand edge and using deckle edge scissors or the deckle blade to cut along the inside edge.

Attach the triangular holly backing sheet to the card using photo glue.

Position and stick down 3 of the self adhesive holly gems in the top left corner of the card.

Using a Didi glue dot fix the 4mm red round gem in place.

Using silicon glue attach each of the poinsettias to the card.

Cut out the gold on red Christmas greeting using deckle edge scissor or the deckle blade for the top and bottom edges and straight scissors or the straight blade for the sides.  Attach to the card with 3D foam tape.
