Card Making Project - Black and White Butterflies Card

This card is an excellent way to use up bits of card and paper left over from previous projects. Use 2 toning colours and a contrasting colour for best effect. You can use either butterflies from a sheet of card toppers in toning colours or die cut your own butterflies.

To make this card you will need:
 A4 Smooth Bright White 270 gsm Card creased and folded to A5Stardream Onyx Paper and CardStardream Lagoon Paper and CardStardream Aquamarine CardButterfly Card Toppers or 2 Large Die Cut ButterfliesDouble Sided Tape or Photo Glue3D Foam Pads 3mm Thick or Silicon Glue |

Using double sided tape cover the front of the card with Stardream Onyx paper.
Cut a piece of Stardream Lagoon paper measuring 135x205 mm and using double sided tape or photo glue mount this onto the Onyx paper leaving a narrow margin all round.
Cut of piece of Stardream Onyx paper measuring 110x180 mm and using double sided tape or photo glue adhere to the Stardream Lagoon paper leaving a margin of 15 mm all round.
Cut a piece of Stardream Aquamarine card measuring 100x170 mm and using double sided tape or photo glue mount this onto the Stardream Onyx paper leaving a narrow margin all round.
Cut a piece of Stardream Onyx card measuring 125x45 mm and using double sided tape or photo glue adhere across the Aquamarine card 115 mm from the top of the main card. Mount onto this a piece of Aquamarine card measuring 110x35 mm, using double sided tape or photo glue.
Cut a piece of Stardream Onyx card measuring 130x75 mm and using double sided tape or photo glue mount on top of this a piece of Stardream Lagoon card leaving a narrow border all round. Then, using foam pads, attach this to the centre of the card.
Finish the card by sticking Black and White Butterflies to the front of the card.
Peel off sentiments suitable for the occasion could be also be attached to the top of the card if desired.
