Card Making Project - Persian Accent Card

This eye-catching card is made using a die cutting machine. Because the border is long it is best cut using the Grand Calibur or a Big Shot or Vagabond with the extended platforms. However, if you haven't got the extended platforms, the border can be cut using the standard platforms by placing the die carefully so that it doesn't overlap the platform or cutting pads.

To make this card you will need:
 198mm x 198mm Creased White Card BlankA4 Stardream Amethyst CardPieces of Stardream Silver CardDie Cutting Machine - Big Shot or Grand CaliburSpellbinder Shapeabilities Persian AccentsKanban Bling Self Adhesive Gems - 5mm3D Foam Pads 3mm ThickPhoto Glue Scissors or Rotary Trimmer |

Assemble together the dies from the Shapeabilities Persian Accents Using scissors or a rotary trimmer cut the Stardream Amethyst card so that you have pieces slightly larger than the dies being used. Do the same with the Stardream Silver card.
Run the border die and each of the Stardream Amethyst long pieces through the die cutting machine to produce 2 borders. Trim each border to 198mm long and glue to the top and bottom edges of the card using photo glue.
Run the border die and each of the cut Stardream Amethyst pieces through the die cutting machine to produce
4 corners. Glue in place using photo glue and add an iridescent clear gem to each corner.
Using the largest of the accent shape dies run it through the die cutting machine using first the Stardream Amethyst and then the Stardream Silver card. Attach the Stardream Amethyst accent to the centre of the card so that the points lie north, east, south and west.
Using 3D foam pads position the Stardream Silver accent so that the points are NE, SE, SW, and NW.
Run the second largest accent shape die through the die cutting machine using Stardream Amethyst card. Using 3D foam pads position this over the Stardream Silver accent.
Run the smallest shaped accent through the die cutting machine using Stardream Silver card and attach it to the centre of the Stardream Amethyst accent using photo glue.
Finally, add a lilac self adhesive Kanban Bling gem to the centre of the Stardream Silver accent.
