Card Making Project - Gold Snowflake on Cream Card

This card uses the piece of backing paper left over from the Gold, Cream and Red Christmas card. Madeleine chose a verse with a snowflake patterned surround in keeping with the snowflake theme of this card
You need a die cutting machine to make this card. We recommend using wax paper when using the intricate snowflake dies.

To make this card you will need:

Cut the A4 smooth white card to 148mm x 297mm and score down the middle to make a 148mm x 148mm square creased card.
Cut the cream card with gold snowflakes backing card to 148mm x 148mm.
Cut a length of the gold Merry Christmas on green ribbon sufficient to go around the width of the card. Place some double sided tape approximately 10mm from the bottom of the card taking it around the back of the card. Place the ribbon on the double sided tape and also around to the back of the card. Glue onto the creased card using photo glue.
Attach the peel off verse to the left side of the card.
Using the gold glitter card and one of the smaller create-a-flake dies run it through the die cutting machine.
Because this is an intricate die it is advisable to place a piece of wax paper between the card and the die before running it through the die cutting machine as this will make it much easier to remove the die cut snowflake after it has been cut.
There is little point in changing plates and running the snowflake through again to emboss it as the embossing won't show up on glitter card.
Attach the gold glitter snowflake to the card using a couple of 3D foam pads.
