Card Making Project - Merry Christmas Robin Card
Made by Madeleine

Madeleine had a DL size piece of Rosella Red card left over from another project. This is how she used it together with some left over pieces of Smooth Light Bright White card and a Robin die cut embellishment.

You need a die cutting machine to make this card.  We recommend using wax paper when using the intricate Splendid Circle die.

To make this card you will need:

A4 Smooth Quality White Card 300gsm
Smooth Rosella Red Card
Smooth Light Bright White 230gsm Card
Pack of Robins Die Cuts
Spellbinders Nestabilities Splendid Circles
Cheery Lynn Designs Merry Christmas
Die Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand Calibur
Photo Glue
3D Double Sided Foam Pads 10mm Square
Extra Strength Glue Stick or Glue Pen
Scoring Board such as the EaziScore or Hougie Board
Wax Paper

Cut the A4 Smooth Quality White card to 198 x 210 and then score down the middle to create a 99mm x 210mm creased card.

Take a DL size piece of rosella red card - 99mm x 210mm - and glue to the front of the creased card using photo glue.

Using a piece of the Smooth Bright White 230 gsm card and the largest die from the Splendid Circles set put a piece of waxed paper between the card and the die then run it through the die cutting machine to cut. Change plates and run it through again to emboss.

Snip a small piece off the left of the branch that the robin sits on so that the robin and branch fit the die cut Splendid Circle. Glue the robin to the circle using photo glue. Attach to the top of the card using 3D foam pads 10mm square.

Run the large Merry Christmas through the die cutting machine using the Smooth Bright White 230 gsm card.
You may need to give this die a quarter turn and the run it through a second time for it to cut.

Using either an extra strength glue stick or a glue pen attach the Merry and the Christmas words to the bottom of the card.
