Card Making Project - Pretty Poppies Birthday Card

This is an easy make card suitable for a beginner. It uses Poppies decorative stickers. The "lace" below the ribbon is die cut in Stardream Opal card to match the Opal Farfalla butterfly embossed card background. If you do not have a die cutting machine you can still make this card - just use real flat ivory lace in place of the die cut one.

To make this card you will need:

Cut the Stardream Opal card to 198mm x 210mm and score to make a creased card measuring 99mm x 210mm. If you are using the EaziScore this is the DL creasing line on the board.
Cut a piece of the Opal Farfalla card to measure 99mm x 210mm.
Run a piece of the Stardream Opal card through the die cutting machine using the Marianne Creatables Lace Border die once to cut and then, changing plates, once again to emboss.
Glue the die cut lace to the card slightly below the centre point (the top of the lace die should be about 95mm from the bottom of the card).
Wrap the organdie ribbon around to the back of the Opal Farfalla card at the top of the lace die cut and secure the ribbon in place at the back of the card using double sided tape.
Glue the Opal Farfalla card to the front of the creased card using photo glue.
Peel the large bouquet of poppies from the decorative stickers sheet making sure you peel it to include the backing paper as this is the sticky bit. Position it on your card at a slight angle with the bottom of the bouquet coming just below the die cut lace.
Peel off the small red butterfly from the decorative stickers sheet making sure you peel it to include the backing paper. Pace the butterfly to the top left of the poppies bouquet.
Add the Happy Birthday peel off greeting to the bottom of the card.
Place 1 self adhesive round metal in centre of each of the upturned poppies. Place 2 self adhesive round metals diagonally in each corner of the card.
