Card Making Project - Key To My Heart Card

An easy card to make with colour being the dominant factor for effect, this card is suitable for a beginner. This card could be used as a 21st key of the door or even a new home card.

To make this card you will need:

Using the plain black card from the Midnight Elegance A Song for You pack score it down the middle to form an A5 (148mm x 210mm) creased card.
Cut a piece of Silver Mirror card to measure 210mm x 25mm. Attach it to the left hand side of the card using 3D foam tape approximately 8mm in from the crease.
Using ultra high tack double sided tape place a length of the turquoise pleated ribbon alongside the silver mirror card strip.
Cut the sides of the border on the card topper sheet and place the border centrally on the silver mirror card using double sided tape. Push out the two small round card toppers of the same size and, using mini glue dots, attach one to the top and one to the bottom of the border so that each one overlaps the border and the mirror card.
Push out one of the birds in flight that face to the right. Attach to the middle of the border using double sided tape. Push out the rest of the card toppers used in this card design and place on one side.
Using ultra high tack double sided tape, attach the key card topper to the right of the bird so that it overlaps the ribbon, mirror car, and border.
Place the round birdcage card topper in the centre of the right hand side of the card using 3D foam tape. Attach the silver and turquoise bird and the With Love sentiment about the birdcage topper using foam tape.
