Card Making Project - Pink and Silver Butterfly Card

This easy make card, suitable for a beginner, uses card and toppers from the Butterfly Sorbet Luxury Card Making Kit and is one of four projects in the Gallery made using this card kit. Irene has made this as a wedding anniversary card but it could also be made as a birthday card simply by changing the peel off sentiment. This card is made as a tent fold card - that is, with the crease along the top of the card.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:
 A5 Creased White Card BlankButterfly Sorbet Luxury Card Making KitSilver Mirror CardSpellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty ThreeDie Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand CaliburSelf-Adhesive Butterfly Gem BorderPeel offs – Happy Anniversary – SilverPhoto Glue 3D Double Sided Foam Pads 1mm Thick |

Trim the butterfly border off the piece of pink butterfly background card in the pack and then cut a piece 4cms long, Using photo glue or double sided tape, adhere this to a piece of silver mirror card, leaving a narrow border all round.
Using the remainder of the pink card cut a piece to measure 148mm x 210mm and using photo glue cover the front of the card. Place the pink and silver border to the left of centre of the card - approximately 30mm from the left hand edge of the card using 3D foam pads.
Using the largest die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty Three, run a piece of silver mirror card through the die-cutting machine. Repeat the process using the next size down Labels Twenty Three and a piece of the pink background card, then matt and layer the two die cuts.
Push out a silver and pink die cut butterfly topper from the card toppers sheets and place at a slight angle in the middle of the Labels Twenty Three layered die cuts using 3D foam pads. Push out 2 of the small flower toppers and add them to the top and bottom of the butterfly topper fixing them in place using photo glue.
Use the foam pads to attach the decorate die cuts to the centre of the card.
Add the Butterfly Gem Border to each side of the card.
Finally place the silver Happy Anniversary sentiments at the top centre of the card.
