Card Making Project - Persian Dawn Shimmering Card

This stunning card will impress any recipient and is made using Stardream card and gilding flakes. Because the A4 Dainty Dots embossing folder was used to make this card you do need a Grand Calibur or other A4 die cutting machine to make this card as Irene made it. However if you don't have an A4 die cutting machine you can still make this card by simply not embossing the Stardream Bronze large square and using a 6 x 6 square embossing folder with a similar design to just emboss the Stardream Gold square.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:

Cut strips from of A4 double sided adhesive sheets and run them all around the edges of the card, overlapping at the corners. Trim the ends of the strips even with the corners, remove the top layer of the double sided sheets and then rub the gilding flakes on it. Use the dome stencil brush to refine and remove the excess flakes.
Using the second, third, and fourth largest dies from the Adorning Squares set (place the dies one inside the other to get the intricate square used in this design), and one of the floral dies from the Jewel Flowers and Flourishes die, run a piece of card through the die cutting machine. (Any piece of scrap card will do as it is being covered with gilding flakes.) Using either a piece of Cut n Dry or the ink blending tool apply the flake and glitter glue to the two die cuts. Apply the gilding flakes as before.
Cut a piece of gold card measuring 165mm x 165mm and using photo glue stick to the centre of the card.
Cut a piece of bronze card measuring 155mm x 155 mm and a piece of gold card measuring 135mm x 135mm and run these through the die cutting machine using the M-Bossabilities Dainty Dots folder using the multi-dots side.
If you don't have an A4 die cutting machine ruin only the Stardream Gold card through the die cutting machine using a 6 x 6 embossing folder.
Using the inverted corner rounder punch, punch each corner of the Stardream Gold embossed card. Using photo glue layer these to the centre of the card. Add the gilded squares die cut to the centre of the card. Add gold gem to each of the inverted corners.
Cut a piece of bronze card measuring 65mm x 65mm and run it through the die cutting machine using the M-Bossabilities Dainty Dots folder using the single dots side (or using the Swiss Dots embossing folder if you aren't using an A4 die cutting machine). Punch each corner with the inverted corner rounder punch. Adhere to the centre of the card then attach the gilded flower die cut in the centre. Finish off with a 5mm gold gem in the centre of the flower.
