Card Making Project - Glitter Snowman Card

Christmas is a time when you can go really mad with glitz and glitter. This card uses glitter paper and a glitter rub on.
Alternatively, you could use a stamp, card topper or some decoupage and highlight it with glitter using a quickie glue pen and some glitter powder.

To make this card you will need:
 Cryogen White card cut and creased to 144mm x 144mmRed Glitter PaperGreen Glitter PaperPiece of Cryogen White Card large enough for the rub on (if using a rub on)Red and Green Snowmen Glitter Rub On, card topper, decoupage or stampMerry Christmas Greeting in GreenDouble-sided Tape - 6mm High Tack3D Foam TapeColonial Edge Scissors, Carl Craft Cutter or DC 212 A4 Rotary Trimmer and the Colonial BladeYou will also need scissors or Precision Snips |

Cut a piece of red glitter paper to 144mm x 65mm using colonial edge scissors or the colonial blade on one of the long sides.
Cut a piece of green glitter paper to 144mm x 55mm using colonial edge scissors or the colonial blade on one of the long sides.
Using double-sided tape line up the green glitter paper on to the red glitter paper and glue down.
Apply double-sided tape to the red glitter paper and line the glitter paper up with the spine of the card and glue in place.
If Using A Rub On
Cut out the large snowman from the Rub On sheet and rub the snowman onto a piece of Cryogen white card.
Tip 1: Rub Ons work better on smooth card so smooth bright white, cryogen white, or gold dust card all work well with rub ons because of their exceptional smoothness.
Tip 2: If you have a Glitter Ball Tool this is excellent for rubbing the transfer to the card. When you have finished, peel back the rub on carefully. If you feel it sticking at any point the design has not all transferred to the card and you should rub again before proceeding with peeling off the rub on sheet.
If Using a Stamp
Stamp and colour the snowman image. Wait until the ink is completely dry before adding the glitter highlights.
Cut out the snowman (if using a card topper or decoupage this is the time to add the glitter highlights) and fix in place using plenty of 3D foam tape.
Add the Merry Christmas sentiment.
