Card Making Project - Purple and White Embossed Birthday Card

This purple and white card is made using embossing folders and decoupage.
To make this card you will need:

A4 Stardream Crystal Card cut and creased to create a card measuring 178mm x 127mm (5ins x 7ins)
A6 piece of Stardream Crystal Card (from A6 Stardream Card Pack)
Piece of Matt Silver Card cut to 158mm x 115mm
Piece of Royal Purple Skin Card cut to fit the Happy Birthday Embossing folder
Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Birthday Set 3
Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Texture Boutique
7mm wide Deep Purple Satin Ribbon
Die Cut Decoupage - Pansies
6mm Double-sided Tape
3D Foam Tape 2mm Thick
3D Foam Pads 3mm Thick
Photo Glue


Using photo glue stick the Matt Silver card to the creased Stardream Crystal card.

Run the A6 Stardream Crystal card through the embossing machine using the A6 background embossing folder from the Textured Impressions Birthday Set 3.

Run the piece of Royal Purple Skin card through the embossing machine using the Happy Birthday embossing folder from the Textured Impressions Birthday Set 3. Trim the sides of the Royal Purple Skin card close to the edge of the Happy Birthday embossed sentiment.

Cut 2 lengths of the purple satin ribbon - each approx. 210mm long. Using 6mm double sided tape glue both strips of ribbon around the embossed Stardream Crystal card about 1cm apart. Glue the Stardream Crystal embossed card to the Silver Matt card using photo glue.

Glue the Royal Purple Happy Birthday card to the Stardream Crystal embossed card using 3D foam tape.

Using 3D foam pads build up the pansies decoupage at the bottom of the card.
