Card Making Project - Roses on Script Birthday Card

This large 8 x 8 inch square birthday card is framed with ribbon borders at each side of the card using the Crafty Edger.

From the A3 cream hammer card cut a piece measuring 16”x8” and crease to form a card 8”x8”.
Cut 2 x 21 cms strips of Stardream Jupiter paper and, using the Crafty Edger and Ribbons cassette, punch the ribbon border. Carefully thread the ivory ribbon through each strip and then attach one to the left hand side and one to the right hand side of the card, using the glue pen. Secure both ends of the ribbon either by gluing approx. 5mm of ribbon to the inside of the card, or by turning the ends of the ribbon underneath the paper ribbon strip.
Cut a piece of Jupiter paper measuring 10.5 x 15 cms. Using double sided tape stick the background picture from the decoupage sheet to the centre of this piece of Jupiter paper. Stick gold straight line peel offs to the outer edges and attach to the centre of the card.
Build up the decoupage picture using either 3D foam pads or silicon glue.
Complete the card by adding the peel off sentiments to the top centre of the card.
