Card Making Project - Red Rose Birthday Card

This card in white and bronze is made using glittered acetate and a red rose decoupage.

To make this card you will need:

Matting and Layering the Background onto the Creased Card
Using photo glue stick the 200 x 138mm gold foil card to the creased Stardream Quartz card.
Using photo glue where it won't show on the finished card, i.e. where the rose topper and happy birthday greeting are to be placed, glue the glittered acetate to the 190 x 128 Stardream Bronze card.
Cut a length of the cardinal double sided satin ribbon approx. 320mm long. Using 6mm double sided tape fix the ribbon to the back of the Stardream Bronze card approx. 50mm from the bottom edge then bring it around to the front and tie in a knot.
Using Photo glue, stick the Stardream Bronze card to the gold foil card leaving a 5mm border.
Making the Decoupage Topper
Take the 75 x 75mm gold foil card and the 65 x 65mm Stardream Bronze card and round each corner on both pieces of card using the corner rounder punch.
Using photo glue, stick the Stardream Bronze card to the gold foil card leaving a 5mm border.
Cut the leaves off the largest piece of decoupage using decoupage scissors. Position and glue down, using photo glue, the leaves previously cut off the decoupage so they "sit" better on the Stardream Bronze card.
The leaves just peeping out from behind the rose will frame the rose decoupage better on the topper.
Using 3D foam pads build up the rose decoupage on the Stardream Bronze card.
Using photo glue position and stick down the decoupage topper on the card.
Adding the Sentiment
Take the 90 x 25mm gold foil card and the 84 x 20mm Stardream Bronze card and round each corner on both pieces of card using the corner rounder punch.
Using photo glue, stick the Stardream Bronze card to the gold foil card leaving a small border
Using 3D foam tape, centre and glue in place at the bottom of the card.
Trim any excess ribbon.
