Card Making Project - Baby Girl Card
Made by Madeleine

This is such a pretty card that will delight any new Mum.
To make this card you will need:

White Hammer Card cut and creased to A6 landscape
White Hammer Card cut to slightly smaller than A6 (142mm x 102mm) for inside of card to hide ribbon
White Hammer Card printed on a computer and then trimmed to 105mm x 20mm
Small Piece of Pink Shimmer Paper cut to 65mm x 60mm
Piece of White with Gold Threads Machined Mulberry Paper cut to 65mm x 60mm and then feathered around the edges
Pink Mulberry Paper Pram
21cm Pale Pink Gingham Ribbon
Amos Extra Strength Glue Stick
3D Foam Pads

Cut an A4 sheet of white hammer card lengthwise and then crease the card to make a 148 x 105 A6 landscape card.

Cut another piece of the white hammer card measuring 142mm x 102mm.

Cut the remaining piece of card to A6 and put through your printer to print the sentiment: Congratulations A Baby Girl.

Using 6mm double sided tape run strip around the left hand edge of the card starting and finishing at the inside of the card.

As you peel off the strip of backing paper from the double sided tape place the gingham ribbon on the tape to stick it firmly to the card.

Using double sided tape glue the 142 x 102mm piece of card to the inside of the card to hide the untidy edges of the ribbon.

Cut a piece of pink shimmer paper approx. 65mm x 60mm and using the extra strength glue stick glue to the card.

Cut a piece of white with silver threads machined mulberry paper to about the same size and feather the edges using water and a paintbrush then gently easing away the wet edge to create the feathered effect.

Using the extra strength glue stick glue the mulberry paper onto the shimmer paper.

Fix the pram onto the mulberry paper using 3D foam tape.

Finally cut out your printed sentiment to 105mm x 20mm and glue to your card using 3D foam tape and ad an insert or wording to the inside of your card.
