Card Making Project - Pink Pansy Pot Card
Made by Irene
Irene has taken the Cottage Garden Pansy Pot Card Making Kit and, instead of just adding the decoupage pieces to the creased cards in the kit, has cut along the crease to make a lovely card on a large 198mm x 198mm card. By cutting Irene gets 2 cards per plant pot instead of one making it better value for money. The Stardream Azalea paper is a good match to the pink in the pansies and the self adhesive daisy gems add the finishing touch. This is the last in the series of 3 that Irene has made using the Cottage Garden Pansy Pot Card Making Kit
You will need the Woodware Crafty Edger to make this card.

Cut a sheet of the pink floral background card to 198mm x 198mm and cover the front of the card with the floral pink background card using photo glue.
Cut a strip of Azalea paper approximately 150mm wide and, using the Crafty Edger and the Tag cartridge, punch along both sides. Using photo glue adhere to the centre of the card and trim off any excess paper using scissors or a rotary trimmer.
Cut the Pink Pansy Pot shaped card in half along the score line and using photo glue attach it to the centre of the card. Using either foam pads or silicone glue, layer some of the decoupage pieces of pansies and leaves leaving some to use for the other half of the plant pot on a later project.
Add the gem borders to each side of the card and trim to fit. Complete by adding sentiments to the top of the card using photo glue.
If you have used silicon glue for the decoupage you will need to leave the card to dry.
