Card Making Project - Yellow Pansy Pot Card

Irene has taken the Cottage Garden Pansy Pot Card Making Kit and, instead of just adding the decoupage pieces to the creased cards in the kit, has cut along the crease to make a lovely card on a large 198mm x 198mm card blank. By cutting Irene gets 2 cards per plant pot instead of one making it better value for money. The Tim Holtz Core'dinations forest moss and scattered straw reflect the yellows and greens of the pansies and the self adhesive butterfly adds the finishing touch. This is the first in a series of 3 that Irene has made using the Cottage Garden Pansy Pot Card Making Kit
You will need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:
 198mm x 198mm Creased White Card Blank Tim Holtz Core'dinations – Forest Moss and Scattered StrawPansy Pot Card Making KitDie Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand CaliburMarianne Creatables IciclesNestabilities – Splendid CirclesBrown and White Butterflies Set BSelf Adhesive Gems – 5 mmGlitter Wide Straight Lines Peel Offs - Gold/Clear3D Double Sided Foam Pads - 3mm thick or Silicone GluePhoto Glue or Double-sided TapeRotary Trimmer or Scissors |

Cut the Tim Holtz Coredinations Scattered Straw card to 188mm x 188mm and cover the front of the card, using double sided tape or photo glue, leaving a 5mm narrow border round the edges.
Using the Marianne Icicles die run two pieces of Forest Moss card through the die cutting machine and using photo glue stick across the bottom edge of the Scattered Straw card. (You will need two pieces in order to cover the width of the card.)
Cut the Yellow Pansy Pot topper in half and stick one piece to the centre of the card, ensuring that it sits behind the green icicle die, then using either foam pads or silicon glue complete the decoupage.
Run a piece of Forest Moss and a piece of Scattered Straw card through the die cutting machine using the two smallest dies of the Splendid Circles. Layer these to the top right hand corner and finish with a Kanban Bling gold gem to the centre.
Add a butterfly to the left of the pansy pot and also add one of the sentiments from the kit, tucking it behind one of the decoupaged pansies.
Finish by adding glitter peel offs to each border.
If you have used silicon glue for the decoupage you will need to leave the card to dry.
