Card Making Project - Heart on Glitter Wedding Invitation

This wedding invitation is made using a punched heart on a die cut scallop square. This design is a re-working of our most copied wedding invitation. It is quite simple to make. We have used a blue glitter scallop square with a white glitter heart for the first card and a white smooth heart on a pink glitter scalloped square for the second card but the colours and textures are endless given the different types and colours of card and paper that can be used.
The heart punch will punch through card up to 230 gsm. You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

The blue and white card uses an A6 gold dust card and an electric blue on gold dust wedding invitation. The 5mm gems are Kanban iridescent self adhesive gems. The wording, on 3D foam pads, is placed about 20mm below the heart design.

The pink and white heart design is on an A6 silver mist card with a pink wedding invitation foiled on smooth bright white card. The heart is also in smooth bright white and the gems are 5mm self adhesive pearls. The wording is placed flat, using photo glue at the bottom centre of the card.

The instructions given are to make the blue and white card. If making the pink and white card simply substitute the card, gems and positioning of the wording you are using when following the steps below.
Cut the A4 Gold Dust card to A5 (210mm x 148mm) and score down the centre using a scoring board to make a 105mm x 148mm A6 card. (If using the EaziScore this is the A5 half fold score line).
The scallop square framelits used is the third smallest one. Run it through the die cutting machine with a piece of the glitter paper. Glue the scallop square to the card using photo glue.
Cut a piece of the white glitter paper and punch out a heart using the Woodware Silhouette full heart punch. Glue onto the glitter scallop square using photo glue.
Attach a Kanban Bling iridescent gem to each corner of the scallop square.
Position the Wedding Invitaion wording and glue down using 3D foam pads.
