Card Making Project - Burgundy and Rose Daisies Card

Here Madeleine brings a design she originally did for a Beginner's Pack bang up to date with the use of Stardream Opal Farfalle butterfly embossed card. Madeleine hasn't used a greeting but has left room between the lace effect border to add a peel off sentiment suitable for the occasion.

To make this card you will need:
 A4 Stardream Opal CardA4 Stardream Opal Farfalle CardSmall Pieces of Stardream Rose and Stardream Mars PaperBurgundy and Pink Double Sided 7mm Satin Ribbon3mm Pink Self Adhesive PearlsLarge Daisy PunchLace Effect Peel Off Borders 6982 in Gold5mm Double Sided Tape3D Double Sided Foam Pads 10mm Square Mini Glue DotsScoring Board such as the EaziScore or Hougie BoardRulerPencilCut the A4 Stardream Opal card to 148mm x 297 and then score down the middle to an 148mm x 148mm square creased card.
If using the EaziScore this is the A4 half fold line.
Cut a piece of the Stardream Opal Farfalle card to measure 136mm x 136mm. Using a ruler and pencil, lightly mark at the top of the Farfalle card at 34mm from the left hand edge, then 68mm, then 102mm. These are the points where the ribbon will be placed.
At the 34mm point measure down the card and lightly mark the 70mm point. Do the same at the 102mm. At the 68mm point measure down the card and lightly mark the 80mm point. Apply 5mm tape from each marked point on the card taking the tape over the top of the card to the back of the card. Attach the ribbon - burgundy at the 34mm point, pink at the 68mm point and burgundy at the 102mm point - over the double sided tape.
Using the pieces of Stardream Rose and Stardream Mars paper punch 3 daisies of each colour. Using mini glue dots, attach 2 of the Stardream Mars daisies to the Stardream Rose ones and one of the Stardream Rose ones to one of the Stardream Mars daisies twisting the daisies slightly as you glue them together.
Using mini glue dots, place the Stardream Mars on Stardream Rose daisies at the bottom of the burgundy ribbon and the Stardream Rose on Stardream Mars daisies at the bottom of the pink ribbon. Place a 3mm pink pearl in the centre of each of the daisies.
Add the peel off border close to the bottom of the Stardream Opal Farfalle card.
Using 3D Double Sided Foam Pads 10mm Square attach the Stardream Opal Farfalle card to the creased card leaving an even border at the top and sides of the card.
