Card Making Project - Baubles Aperture Card
Made by Madeleine

The left over piece from the Santa Claus backing card is used here in conjunction with acetate that has been embossed by running it through a die cutting machine. The snowflake embossing on the acetate adds an extra layer of depth to this card.

You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:

Hunkydory Classic Christmas Card Toppers - Santa's Snowman
Aperture card from 6 x 8 White Aperture Cards and Envelopes Pack
A4 Acetate
M-Bossabilities - 5 x 7 Winter Wonders
Die Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand Calibur
Decorative Stickers Christmas Baubles
5mm Double Sided Tape
Photo Glue (optional)

Cut the backing card to measure 198mm x 148mm. Cut the acetate to the same size - 198mm x 148mm.

Using the snowflake pattern side of the M-Bossabilities run the acetate through the die cutting machine.
Except for the Grand Calibur, different plates are used with M-Bossabilities than for other embossing folders as the M-Bossabilities are a lot thicker. Please check the plates needed for your machine prior to running the embossing folder through the machine.

Using double sided tape around the edges, glue the embossed acetate to the backing card.

Using double sided tape around the front edges of the acetate, glue in place inside the card. Using either double sided tape or photo glue stick down the aperture flap.

Peel off each of the 2 baubles from the backing paper on the decorative stickers and adhere to the acetate at the front of the card.
