Card Making Project - Santa and Snowman A5 Card

This card uses the Santa and Snowman backing card from the Hunkydory Classic Christmas Card Toppers - Santa's Snowman. The die cut snowflake adds dimension to the card. This is an easy make card.

You need a die cutting machine to make this card.  We recommend using wax paper when using the intricate snowflake dies.
To make this card you will need:

Hunkydory Classic Christmas Card Toppers - Santa's Snowman
A4 Smooth Quality White Card 300gsm
Small piece of White Iridescent Glitter Card
Spellbinders Shapeabilities Create-A-Flake Four
Die Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand Calibur
Photo Glue
Scoring Board such as the EaziScore or Hougie Board
Wax Paper.

Score the A4 smooth white card down the middle to make an A5  creased card.

Cut the Santa and snowman backing card in two so that each piece measures 148mm x 210mm.
There will be a little bit of red from the Santa Claus on the blue half of the background card. This doesn't matter as it will not be seen when the card is used in the next project.

Using photo glue cover the front of the A5 creased card with the Santa and snowman half of the backing card.

Using the white iridescent glitter card and the starburst snowflake create-a-flake die run it through the die cutting machine.
Because this is an intricate die it is advisable to place a piece of wax paper between the card and the die before running it through the die cutting machine as this will make it much easier to remove the die cut snowflake after it has been cut.
There is little point in changing plates and running the snowflake through again to emboss it as the embossing won't show up on glitter card.

Glue the die cut snowflake at the top left of the card using photo glue.
