Card Making Project - Glitter Blue Baubles Christmas Card

A sumptuous Christmas card using pretty Christmas Shiny Baubles backing card and adding interest with glitter and the Woodware Crafty Edger.

To make this card you will need:

Score the A4 Stardream Vista card down the middle to create an A5 creased card.
Using a strip of the Stardream Vista paper slightly longer than the height of the card and wide enough to tuck neatly into the Crafty Edger, punch one side of the length of the paper using the garland cassette. Line the punched strip of Stardream Vista against the side of the card and trim to fit so that the repeat pattern is even at the top and bottom of the card to allow for the placing of the gems. The strip when trimmed should measure 210mm.
Attached the punched Stardream Vista strip to the right hand side of the card using double sided tape and running a glue pen over the intricate edge.
Cut the baubles design from the backing card to 105mm wide. Using a Quickie Glue pen and ultrafine crystal glitter, decorate each bauble with some glitter on right hand side of the bauble only as if light was coming from that direction. Glue to the card approx. 10mm in from the crease line using double sided tape. Add a silver peel off border onto the card at either side of the backing card.
Add 3mm iridescent gems to the centre of some of the stars on the baubles backing card. Add 5mm iridescent gems along the right hand side of the card between swirls in the garland punched design.
Add the silver Merry Christmas peel off just above the top bauble.
