Card Making Project - Tea and Cakes Card
Made by Madeleine

Madeleine has combined a topper and coordinating backing sheet with a die cut cup and saucer to make this lovely card. Tea anyone?

You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:

A4 Smooth Eider Vellum Card
Stardream Crystal Card
Dreams of Spring - Days of Treats Die Cut Foiled Toppers
Marianne Craftables - Coffee Cup
Die Cutting Machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot or Grand Calibur
Self Adhesive Butterfly Gem Border
Chalks - Summer Sea (Optional)
Photo Glue
3D foam Pads 3mm Thick
Double Sided Fingerlift Tape
EaziScore or Hougie Board

Cut the A4 down the centre lengthways to make a piece 297mm x 105mm.  Score one of the lengths in the centre to make a 148mm x 105mm card (this is the A4 half fold line if using an Eaziscore).

Cut the A4 pink card in the topper pack the same way to 297 x 105mm, then cut the piece with the cupcake border on it to 148mm x 105mm. Take the piece that doesn't have the cake-stand image on and glue it to the front of your creased card using photo glue with the border at the bottom of the card.

Push out the topper of six cupcakes and glue to the left hand side of your card using photo glue.

Using Stardream Crystal card, run the Marianne cup and saucer dies through your die cutting machine once to cut and then, changing plates, one again to emboss.

Rub a little of the very pale green chalk over the die cut cup and saucer. This won't colour the die cuts green but will give it the appearance of bone china.

Attach the cup to the saucer with a little double sided tape then adhere the die cuts to your card using 3D foam pads.

Add a single butterfly gem and trails from the Self Adhesive Butterfly Gem Border roll.
