Card Making Project - Butterflies and Bouquets Mother's Day Card

This is an easy make card using the Kanban A walk in the Garden Paper Pack and the Kanban Butterflies and Bouquets card toppers. Both the shaped pieces used for matting and layering from the paper pack, and the foiled and glittered card topper, are already die cut - you just need to push them out.
If you are a beginner you might want to use deckle decorative edge scissors as with the deckle ones the pattern does not need to be lined up.

To make this card you will need:

This card is mat and layered using the Stardream Ruby card, the card from the A walk in the Garden Paper Pad, and then finally the card topper. It's simply a case of starting with the base layer and working up.
Using decorative scissors or the Carl rotary trimmer and Victorian blade cut the Stardream Ruby card to 165mm x 165mm.
Tip: if you are a beginner mark this size out of the card first using a pencil and ruler and then follow the pencil line.
Using 3D foam tape glue the Stardream ruby card in the centre of the 198 x 198mm card blank.
Take one of the green patterned sheets from the A Walk in the Garden paper pad and glue it centrally, using photo glue, on top of the Stardream Ruby card.
Push out the ruby edged glittered die cut shaped card from it's frame and glue in the centre of the patterned green paper using 3D foam tape.
Push out the Butterflies and Bouquets topper from the card topper sheet. On top of the shaped card place the topper towards the left hand side of the card.
Take 2 green and 2 lilac Kanban Bling 5mm gems and place them in the corners of the green patterned card so that the green ones are at the upper left and bottom right corners and the lilac ones are in the upper right and bottom left corners.
Finally, peel off the letters in turn to make up the word MOTHER on the front of the card as shown in the photograph.
