Card Making Project - Love Birds Engagement Card
Made by Madeleine
Make this pretty engagement card with leftovers and a sheet of paper from the Marianne Belle Fleur paper pad.
It's a very economical card to make too as it uses a topper leftover from a previous project a a scrap of Stardream Crystal Card.
The large topper on this card is a piece left over after making the engagement card in the From the Heart Scalloped Diamond Aperture card making kit. How often do we cardmakers make a card and then pop the "leftovers" into a box and forget we have them? Or, if we remember, end up searching through boxes trying to find the piece we need at a later date? This card is very easy to make so if you make this card straight after you have completed the card in the kit you'll have one ready at hand for the next engagement in the family.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Take a sheet of the pink rose on dark cream paper from the Belle Fleur paper pad and glue it to the front of the creased card using photo glue. Leave to dry.
Position and adhere the topper using photo glue (this is the piece you push out to create the centre aperture when making the card in the card kit). Leave to dry.
Beginner's note: photo glue takes 30 - 60 seconds to dry. During this time, until it is dry, it is repositional.
Using the Stardream Crystal card and the Tiny's Love Birds die run through the die cutting machine once to cut and then, changing plates, once again to emboss.
Attach the Stardream Crystal die cut slightly overlapping the card topper at the top right using 3D foam pads.
