Stamp the flower image onto the smooth white card. Colour the image using Distress Markers Aged Mahogany and Victorian Velvet and the leaves and stem using Forest Moss and Vintage Photo. Shade and blend the colours using a fine wet paint brush.
This technique with Distress Markers is shown on the Tim Holtz Video which can be accessed from the Distress Markers Page.

Trim the stamped image using the decorative scissors. Cut a piece of gold foil mirror card 5mm large than the stamped image card.
When trimmed with decorative scissors Mary's stamped white card measures 84mm x 68mm measuring from the outer edge of the cupid's bow. The gold foil mirror card is therefore 89mm x 73mm.

Take a piece of the pink striped paper from the Pink Gelato paper pad and cut it to 160mm long x 110mm wide. Ink the edges of the card with the Ash Rose Versa Colour ink pad.

Take the floral paper from the Meadow Lark paper stack and trim it to 150mm long x 100mm wide using decorative scissors on the right hand side of the paper only.

Cut a piece of spare card to 160mm x 110mm.
It doesn't matter what sort of card this is - just use any waste card left over from a previous project that is of a reasonable weight. The card won't be seen. The purpose of doing this is simply to strengthen the whole topper so it will take the weight of the ribbon.

Build up the topper as follows: using double sided tape place the Kaisercraft paper onto the waste card, then the Meadow Lark floral paper centred onto the Kaisercraft paper leaving an even border all the way round, the gold foil mirror card towards the top of the floral paper  leaving an even border at the top and right and left hand sides, and finally the cards with the stamped image centred on the gold foil mirror card.

Cut 2 lengths of the burgundy ribbon and place at the left hand side of the card so that the one ribbon crosses over the other securing in place with mini glue dots. Cut another length of ribbon and make a bow and attach it using mini glue dots.

Cut a piece of lace and a length of burgundy ribbon to 210mm - the height of the card. Ink the lace with the Ash Rose ink pad. Using double sided tape attach the lace to the right hand side of the card and then the ribbon down the outer edge of the lace. Add 2 narrow border peel offs, using different designs keeping them close to the edge of the burgundy ribbon.

Using 3D foam pads attach the topper to the card.  Finally place the cut out foiled sentiment using 3D foam pads.
