Card Making Project - Flower Basket Easter Card
Made by Irene

The golds and purples of this decoupage are reflected by the use of Stardream Amethyst and Stardream Gold paper to create the background on this 8 ins x 8 ins card.

To make this card you will need:

Reddy Die Cut Decoupage Easter Floral Twin Pack 2
A3 Cream Hammer Card cut and creased to 200mm x 200mm
Stardream Amethyst Paper
Stardream Gold Paper
Peel Offs Fancy Corners and Fine Borders in Gold
Peel Offs Happy Easter in Gold
Foam Pads 3mm and 1.5mm Thick or Silicon Glue
Photo Glue or Double Sided Tape
Scissors
Pencil and Ruler

From the gold paper cut two triangles measuring 180 x 125 x 125mms and 90 mms from apex to base, and also identical triangles from the amethyst paper.

Using either photo glue or double sided tape, and leaving a narrow border at the top, bottom and sides of the card, adhere the triangles to the cream card to form a square, with gold triangles at the sides and amethyst at the top and bottom.

Stick the Gold Fine Borders, from the Fancy Corners and Fine Borders peel off, to the sides of each triangle.

Cut a piece of cream hammer card measuring 140 x 110 mms, add fine borders around the edges and adhere to the centre of the card, using either photo glue or double sided tape.

Using double sided tape, stick the background picture of the decoupage to the centre of the piece of cream card.

Build up the decoupage picture using either 3D foam pads or silicon glue.  If using 3D foam pads start with the 3mm thick ones for the bottom layers and 1.5mm ones for the top layers.

Finally add Happy Easter sentiments to the top centre of the card.
