Card Making Project - Anja's Roses and Lace Card

This card uses 3 Marianne Design dies and the Nellie's large floral punch. It is suitable for a variety of occasions: birthdays, wedding anniversary or, make it in Stardream Jupiter and Quartz doe a Valentine's Day card.
You will need a die cutting machine for this project.

To make this card you will need:

Cut the and crease the Stardream Crystal card to make a folded card measuring 148mm x 148mm.
Cut a piece of matt silver card to measure 130mm x 130mm and a piece of Stardream Lagoon card to measure 120mm wide x 125mm high.
Glue the matt silver card to the Stardream creased card using photo glue and leaving an even border all around the edges.
With the Anja's Roses Centrepiece about 3mm from the edge of the Stardream Lagoon card run it through the die cutting machine once to cut it and then change plates and run it through again to emboss it.
Because this die cuts into the card rather than cuts out the card it's important that the die doesn't move when it's run through the machine. 2 or 3 pieces of low take masking tape will hold the die in place if you want to err on the safe side.
Cut a piece a Stardream Crystal card to measure 115mm x 120mm. Using photo glue adhere the die cut Stardream lagoon card to the piece of Stardream Crystal card. Attach to the matt silver mount using 3D foam pads 10mm square leaving an even border at the top, bottom and right hand sides.
At this point there will be slightly more of the matt silver card showing at the left hand side.
Cut a strip of Stardream Crystal card and, using the lace border die run through the die cutting machine once to cut and then again to emboss. Trim the border die to 125mm and, using photo glue, attach to the left hand side of the Stardream Lagoon card so that part of the lace border die cut slightly overlaps the Stardream Lagoon card - this will even up the amount of silver matt card showing at the left hand side of the card..
Using a small piece of Stardream Crystal card and the larger swirl that comes with the LR0116 frame run it through the die cutting machine.
As this is not an embossing die you need to run it through the machine only once to cut it.
Attach the Stardream Crystal die cut to the card using photo glue.
Using the Nellie's large floral punch and the Stardream Crystal paper punch and emboss 2 flowers. Use a Didi glue dot to join the 2 punched flowers and another one to glue the flowers to the card. To finish the card, place a 5mm Kanban turquoise gem in the centre.
