Card Making Project - Glittered Rose Topper Card
Made by Madeleine
This card uses one of the satin decorative stickers. These are just perfect as a topper when matting and layering using die cuts. The backing papers and mats are from the Kaisercraft Magic Happens paper pad. Paper pads are great for matting and layering as they will have papers that coordinate with one another.
You will need a die cutting machine for this project.

Cut the A4 Stardream Crystal card to 120 x 240 then score down the middle to create a 120mm x 120mm square card.
Select the graduated pink and white card with stars design and the deep rose card from the Magic Happens paper pad (because these 2 papers coordinate with one another you'll find them next to each other in the pad).
Cur the graduated pink and white card to 110mm x 110mm ensuring that it is cut so that it graduates from deep pink at the top and left to white at the right and bottom. Cut a piece of the white striped organza ribbon and, placing it approx. 15mm from the left hand edge of the graduated card, take it around to the back of the card fixing in place with Didi glue dots.
Select the scallop Framelit that's slightly larger than the topper plus the next 2 larger scallop Framelits in the set.
Run through the die cutting machine as follows:
Smallest of the 3 Framelits with deep rose card; middle size with a piece of the leftover graduated card; and largest Framelit of the 3 with deep rose card.
Matt and layer the die cuts and satin topper as followers:
Largest scallop square glued to right hand side of the 110mm x 110mm square graduated card.
Scallop square graduated card placed centrally on the large scallop square using 3D foam pads.
Smallest scallop square glued centrally using photo glue.
Self adhesive satin topper placed in centre of smallest scallop square.
Using 3D foam pads glue the matt and layered topper to the creased card leaving an even white border on all sides.
Using a length of the white stripe organza ribbon make a triple bow (this is easier if you have a bowmaker. Attach the bow to the top of the organza ribbon using a Didi glue dot.
