Card Making Project - Glittered Poinsettias Card
Made by Margaret
Margaret used Stardream Crystal for both the A5 creased card and the die cut borders and poinsettias and then applied glitter to the die cut shapes using glue. Alternatively, you could just use white iridescent glitter card for the die cuts.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Score the A4 Stardream Crystal card down the middle to create an A5 creased card.
Using the border from the Asian Accents set of dies and the Stardream Crystal card run it through the machine 4 times to cut 4 border pieces.
If you use wax paper between the die and the card you will find the card easier to remove once cut.
Apply glue to the borders and then sprinkle on the glitter before gluing the borders to each side of the card trimming as necessary.
If using wet glue you may find it easier to apply using a brush.
Using the flourishes from the Marianne Creatables Frame LR0116 and the holographic card cut 4 large and 2 small flourishes.
Using the Shapeabilities Poinsettia dies and the Stardream Crystal card cut 2 of the second largest poinsettia petals and 2 of the third largest. Apply glue to the poinsettias and then sprinkle on the glitter. Using a little glue, attach each of the smaller set of petals to the larger petals to make 2 flowers. Place a 5mm gem in the centre of each flower.
Repeat the cutting, glittering and gluing using the third largest die and the smallest die to make 2 smaller poinsettias. Place a 5mm gem in the centre of each flower.
Arrange all the flourishes and poinsettias on your card and, when happy with the positioning, glue into place.
