Falling Leaves Dragonfly Card
Made by Madeleine

Made with an aperture card and a leaf backing card  (this one was Dufex but there are a range of leaf design backing papers available).  Scissors, a punch or a die can be used to cut the leaves "falling" randomly down the card.  Then simply add a dragonfly or butterfly embellishment, topper or die cut to complete the card.

To make this card you will need:

A6 Creased Ivory Square Aperture Card
Leaves Backing Card plus co-ordinating card or paper for the punched or die cut leaves.
Dragonfly embellishment or die cut
Double-sided Adhesive Tape
Mini and Didi Glue Dots
Glue Stick
Leaf Punch (stromg enough to punch through card)  or small leaf die and die cutting machine.

Cut the leaves backing card to 10 mm larger than the aperture then fix it in position behind the aperture using adhesive tape to hold it into place.

Using double-sided tape glue the flap behind the aperture into place.

Punch or die cut 3 leaves from the co-ordinating backing paper.

Apply  a strong glue stick to each of the punched leaves and glue them onto the card.

Punch or die cut a dragonfly or butterfly or use a butterfly card topper or embellishment

Attach 2 mini glue dots to the body and a didi glue dot to each of the lower wings onto the card.
