Card Making Project - Cottage and Roses Card

Shades of red and pink create this pretty card with its country cottage theme. Mary uses
the Woodware Crafty Edger to create the delicate border at the top and bottom of this card. Because of its
cottage theme this card could be used as either a birthday card or a new home card

To make this card you will need:

Score the A4 Linen card down the middle (A4 Half Fold on the EaziScore) to make an A5 creased card. Take a sheet of the A5 rose flower paper from the Marianne Paper Pad (you'll find this fits the front of the creased card perfectly) and using the Crafty Edger tool and the Antique Floral Cassette punch the top and bottom of the rose flower paper. Glue to the front of the card using photo glue but leave the punched edges unglued.
Cut two lengths of burgundy ribbon, each 148mm long and, using 5mm double sided tape, glue onto the rose flower paper just above (for the bottom of the card) and just below (for the top of the card) the punched decorative edge. Take a shorter length of burgundy 7mm wide ribbon and form a bow (use a bowmaker if you find you're all fingers and thumbs at making bows) and attach it to the centre of the ribbon at the bottom of the card using mini glue dots.
Cut out the Cottage topper from the Marianne Tiny's Country Garden 1 topper sheet. Measure the topper and then cut a piece of Stardream Azalea card 10mm larger than the topper both in height and width. Attach the topper to the Stardream Azalea card using 3D foam pads 1mm thick and then attach to the card using 12 x 6mm 3D foam pads 2mm thick.
Select two white Spring Blossom flowers from the pack and place a 4mm red self adhesive gem in the centre of each flower to match the colour scheme. Place the flowers in position using mini glue dots.
