Cut and Embossed Floral Card

This is one of two cards using the new Marianne Design embossing folders extra - the extra being a die that works perfectly with the embossing folder to create different looks when designing your card.
Madeleine used two sheets of paper from the Antique Library paper pack that coordinate beautifully with each other and, keeping to the pink theme, some dusty pink Kaisercraft blooms and some cream roses. The finishing touches are a satin edged white organdie bow with a pearl bead in the centre and some lavender pearls - the lavender being a better match to the papers than the pink pearls.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Take the large floral design paper from the Antique Library paper pack and trim it to 148mm x 148mm. Adhere it to the front of the card using photo glue.
Cut the Stardream Opal card to 121mm x 121mm (this will fit the embossing folder nicely) and some Stardream Bronze card to 129mm x 129mm. Place the Stardream opal card in the embossing folder and run it through the die cutting machine.
Place the die on the embossed card diagonally, slightly nearer the top of the card than the bottom, using the embossed pattern as the guide for positioning the die. Run it through the die cutting machine using the plates for thin cutting dies.
Take a sheet of the pink script pattern paper from the Antique Library paper pack and cut it to 120mm x 120. Using photo glue, attach the pink script paper to the centre of the bronze card then glue the embossed and die cut Opal card on top. Leave to dry. When dry, glue to the card leaving an even border all around.
Cut the self adhesive lavender pearls in 2 strips, one 7 beads long and the other 6 beads long, and place in the top right of the Opal card. Adhere the gold "Birthday Wishes" peel offs close to the pearls.
Take one larger and one smaller Kaisercraft dusty pink bloom and 2 of the blush cream roses. Remove the wire stems then fix in place using Pinflair glue.
Cut a length of satin edge 10mm white organdie ribbon and make a bow. Attach to the top left of the die cut pattern on the opal card and add a self adhesive 10mm pearl to the centre.
