Card Making Project - Vintage Labels Stamped Anniversary Card
Made by Linda
The champagne stamp is great for anniversary cards - ring the changes, depending on the anniversary, by simply changing the colour of the card: silver, gold, or how about using Stardream Opal for a pearl wedding anniversary?
Experienced stampers always put a sheet of paper beneath the card with the stamped image prior to applying the embossing powder so that the excess can be shaked off onto the paper and easily put back in the tub - something to bear in mind if you are new to heat embossing.
This anniversary card just needs careful cutting of the creased card so that the die cut vintage label sits perfectly but this is done at the start, before any layering so you can test the die against your pencil marks to make sure it's perfect before you cut.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Cut the white card to measure 210mm x 210mm then crease it down the centre to make a 105mm x 210mm creased card. If you are using an EaziScore this is the A5 half fold crease line.
Run the Stardream Ruby card with the largest of the Tiny's vintage labels through the die cutting machine once to cut and then, changing plates or setting, once again to emboss.
Place the die cut label on the card keeping it close to the bottom edge. If you prefer, use a little masking tape or a glue dot to hold the die cut in place. Following the line of the top of the die cut and using a ruler, lightly draw a line where the card is to be cut. Remove the die cut label from the creased card and then, using either scissors or a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat, cut along your pencil line cutting.
Take a piece of white card, a bit bigger than the medium vintage label, and stamp the champagne glasses image onto it. Sprinkle silver embossing powder onto the stamped image ensuring the image is well covered then shake off the excess and put it back into the tub.
Take a piece of white card bigger than the smallest of the vintage labels and stamp the Mr & Mrs image onto it. Apply embossing powder and shake off excess.
Use the heat gun on both the images until the embossing powder is slightly risen all over the images. Leave for a couple of minutes to cool.
Making sure the image is centred on the label run each one through the die cutting machine once to cut.
Using photo glue attach the Stardream Ruby label to the card then glue the champagne glasses label to the centre of it.
Using a Pinflair glue to give it a little lift away from the card, adhere the small label into place at the top of the card.
