Kitten Card

Irene's cute kitten card would make a lovely birthday card or any occasion (does it have to be an occasion?) when you want to raise a smile. If you have a cat loving friend who is feeling a bit down why not make this card - it's sure to cheer her.
This card uses only dies and card - no other embellishments are needed.
Depending on which machine you have you may be able to combine some the die cutting operations and put more dies through at one pass. The instructions assume you have the smallest die cutting machine.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:
Card and Paper:

Cut the 300gsm white card to measure 144mm x 288mm and score it down the middle to create a 144 x 144mm creased card blank.
Cut the Stardream Silver card to 144mm x 144mm and, using photo glue, cover the front of the card with it.
Creating the die cuts
Cut each piece of card slightly larger than the die you are using as follows:
Using the Stardream Crystal card and the largest of the scallop squares run it through the die cutting machine once to cut (this is a cutting die only). Put the die cut card into the Swiss dots embossing folder and, changing plates or setting, run it through the die cutting machine again.
Select the die from the Crafts Too Frame 6 set that sits nicely inside the scallop square die cut. Run it through the die cutting machine once to cut and then again, changing plates, a second time to emboss the edges.
Choose the next size down from the Frame 6 set and, using Stardream Crystal car, run it once through the die cutting machine to cut and then, changing plates, run it through again to emboss.
Using Stardream Onyx card run through the kitten, paws, and best wishes dies through the die cutting machine. The kitten and best wishes dies are cutting dies only so put to one side. Changing plates, run through the paws die again to emboss.
Cut and emboss 3 more sets of paws.
Putting the Card Together
Make the topper for the card by first gluing the Stardream Onyx Label 6 on the centre of the scallop square die cut using photo glue. Place the kitten on the Crystal Label 6 using photo glue.
Using 3D foam pads attach the Crystal Label 6 to the centre of the Onyx Label 6. Attach the topper to the card using photo glue.
Using photo glue, place the Best Wishes die cut at the top of the card and a set of paws in each corner.
