Flowers and Gems Card

This is one of two cards made with the Marianne Chicken Wire Extra Folder - the other one being the Cut and Embossed Floral Card in ivory and pink.
For this card Madeleine has chosen a more simply colour scheme using blue-greens of the lagoon pearlescent card and sea breeze flowers with silver and white.
The single swirl is taken from the smaller of the two swirls on the Double Swirl Corner gem set. This is the central swirl - the sides swirls having been snipped off and used for the Shades of Pink card making project.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Cut the silver mirror card to measure 135mm x 135mm and, using photo glue, glue it in the centre of the creased card leaving an even border all the way around.
Cut the Stardream Crystal card to 121mm x 121mm (this will fit the embossing folder nicely) and some Stardream Lagoon card to 129mm x 129mm. Place the Stardream Crystal card in the embossing folder and run it through the die cutting machine.
Place the die on the embossed card down the right hand side, slightly nearer the bottom of the card than the top, using the embossed pattern as the guide for positioning the die. Run it through the die cutting machine using the plates for thin cutting dies.
Using photo glue, adhere the piece of Stardream Lagoon card to the centre of the silver mirror card leaving an even border and then position the Stardream Crystal embossed and die cut card on top. Place a 4mm self adhesive gem in the centre of each of the cut hexagonal.
Fix the Birthday Wishes peel off in place on the bottom of the card then add the swirl gem at a slight angle so the top of the swirl is just below where the flowers will be placed.
Take three of the smaller sea breeze blooms fix in place using Pinflair glue. Leave for a few minutes for the glue to dry.
