Card Making Project - Elegant Edge Card

This card is made as a tent fold card with the crease along the top with the main feature the die cut edge at the bottom of the card created using the Anja's Border - Elegant die. A novel use of the Anja's label die and a Kaisercraft bloom creates the centrepiece.
Irene has made this card as a Mother's day card but it would also make a lovely birthday card - simply change the sentiment.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

Creating the Die Cut and Embossed Edge
Cut the Stardream Crystal card to 290mm x 133mm. Score down the middle to create a creased card measuring 145mm x 133mm.
Open up the card and place the die along the inside of the front outside of the front bottom edge - the die should fit exactly. If you are concerned about the die slipping as it goes through the die cutting machine add a little low tack tape to hold it in place.
Run the card and die through the die cutting machine once to cut.
Important note: if you have used masking tape to hold the die in place whilst cutting the tape must be removed before the embossing operation - otherwise you will get an embossed image of the masking tape as well as the die.
Changing plates, run the die and card through the machine again to emboss it.
Adding the embellishments
Cut 2 pieces of matt gold card slightly larger than the feathered Anja's label. Run one piece of card with the die through the die cutting machine once to cut and then again, changing plates, to emboss. Repeat this process with the same die and the second piece of matt gold card. Glue both diecuts in place using photo glue slightly overlapping the join.
Using Pinflair glue, glue one of the smaller buttercream blooms over the join of the two Anja's labels die cuts.
Add 7 of the 3mm gold round metals to the diecut elegant border to emphasize the embossing.
Finally, position in place the peel off sentiment at the top of the card.
